Dr. Charlie was born and raised in Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University in 2004. He first found chiropractic when he was involved in a motor vehicle collision in the early 2000s that left him with a severe lumbar disc herniation causing long term foot numbness. Something inside him knew that surgery was not the right path for him. It was after extensive chiropractic care that he made a full recovery. It was then that he made the decision to become a chiropractor and help others.
While attending Chiropractic school in Davenport, Iowa, Dr. Charlie met his wife Jennifer who was from Alaska. While in school they had their first child, Ethan. After school, they moved back to Alaska to be closer to her family. In 2009, they had their second child Audrey and opened their chiropractic office together, all in the same year!! Dr. Charlie and Dr. Jennifer built a life together in Alaska and enjoyed their time there camping, hiking, fishing, hunting and spending time with their dog Wallace. The last 3 years in Alaska, their office was voted the #1 chiropractic office in Anchorage by the community. Going out on top, they decided it was time to move closer to Dr. Charlie’s family who is spread out all over the eastern United States.

Dr. Yoder was born and raised in Ohio and graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2021. Dr. Yoder found chiropractic through going with his mom as a kid. She previously suffered with lower back pain. He really saw the benefits firsthand in middle and high school when he ran cross country. He saw the benefits of improved performance in his running and improved times during meets. Having firsthand benefits and great results with himself and his mom, his passion to deliver chiropractic to the world grew! He decided during college that he wanted to share this amazing gift with others!
Dr. Yoder met his wife Abagail during undergrad. Together, they moved to Florida so he could attend chiropractic school. It was during their time near the beach that they had more of a desire for hills and mountains with warm weather. Together, they enjoy camping, hiking, mountain biking and just being outside. They are happy to call Hickory, NC their home!

I am so very thankful that Dr Gray has an office in Hickory. After exhausting what the medical profession could do for me I called Dr Grays office. After explaining my concerns he was confident that he could help my condition. After understanding that healing is a process & will take some time, treatment was started. The knowledge and expertise and care of Dr. Gray is phenomenal. The staff is always welcoming with a warm smile and I hello by your personal name which just makes you feel cared for and comfortable. Taken right on schedule, and given a full update on the cost of my treatment plan. Given many options under that treatment plan and I selected what I could afford. Much different treatment plan than I was receiving it another chiropractor's office. More inclusive specialized care.
I have been coming to this place for a few years now. I will never regret my decision to come in for a visit. I was developing sciatic pain, and the pain was unbearable especially at work.
